2026 Spring Season

Registration Dates

The spring season is available to players of all levels from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

Kinder – 1st Grade “Mini-Lax” ($100)
The Vail Lax Kinder-1st grade “Mini-Lax” is a co-ed program that is designed as a fun introduction to lacrosse. Registration for Mini-Lax includes a branded T-shirt and two practices a week from 4:15-5:15 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices will begin on March 31st at Freedom Park and end on May 21st. This age group will not have any games or wear any equipment, and practices will utilise a softer lacrosse ball designed for teaching the game.

2nd – 8th Grade Spring Lax Season ($600)
Registration for the 2026 spring Vail Lax season includes a new uniform for all players, two practices each week, and complete registration fees for four tournaments. Practices will start on Tuesday, March 24th at Freedom Park and continue every Tuesday and Thursday until May 28th.

Grade Level
Please note that all players must register for the grade level in which they are currently enrolled in for the 2025-2026 school year.  Vail Lax will not allow any athletes to register above their grade-based age group. Note: As the only exception to the above, 1st graders who have played a season of Vail Lax before and want to travel to tournaments may select to register for the 2nd grade team at full season price of $600.

USA Lacrosse Membership
All players must have a USA Lacrosse Membership to complete registration. Youth Membership is $35 per year (Memberships renewal dates are one calendar year from the date you sign up for the membership). The membership must be active through the end of the program in which you are registering for (i.e. May 25th 2026 for the spring season). Click Here to renew or creat US Lacrosse Membership. New player equipment
All players must wear the required equipment needed to play the game of lacrosse.  Boys required gear is listed here and girls required gear is listed here.  We have negotiated some equipment discounts with Lacrosse Unlimited (links below) or you can visit Lax.com for additional options.
