Carrie started playing lacrosse in 7th grade for the club team in Mankato, MN and played there throughout high school. She also played for the Minnesota Elite team her Junior and Senior years. She fell in love with the University of Kansas and decided to go there and play club lacrosse. While there, she was the only player in league history to be awarded 1st team All-Conference every season. In addition, she earned Academic All-American in 2008 and 2009 and was named the Central Plains Women's Lacrosse League Player of The Year in 2010. Carrie also served as president of the team her Junior and Senior years. She has a passion for coaching and has coached both lacrosse and hockey for a number of years.
Katie grew up in central Florida where she was part of the first wave of players that helped establish Florida as the next lacrosse hotbed. Katie began playing lacrosse in the sixth grade as soon as it was available and took her passion for the game to Winter Springs HS where her team made the FHSAA Final Four 2 years in a row. Katie at the University of Central Florida where her team was nationally ranked in the WCLA Division 1. Katie worked her way up to President and team captain during her time at UCF and helped lead the team. In her Sophomore year, her team placed 2nd in the Southeastern Women’s Lacrosse League Championship and won a bid to the WDIA National Tournament placing 11th out of 270 teams. Prior to moving to Vail, Katie was living in Massachusetts she is excited to be involved with VVLC and to share her passion for the sport!
Chantal grew up in Maryland and has been playing lacrosse most of her life. She played college lacrosse at Wagner College and has stayed close to the game since graduation working camps and being a fan. We are excited about her experience working with youth athletes and her ability to keep them engaged and growth-oriented throughout the practice.
